(More customer reviews)I have had lots of cool guitars...Kramers,Gibson Les Pauls, Explorers, Flying Vs,Fender Strats, etc. This guitar is by far my favorite. It weighs 10 pounds ( more than the average Deluxe ), which I like. Mahogany body with maple top, Seymour Duncan JB in bridge and Jazz in neck. I would compare this guitar to a Les Paul, but with push/pull knob for single coil sounds gives you more tonal possibilties.You can go from heavy distortion coolness to clean and bright. The action is low and fast. The design is a combination of Les Paul, Iceman, and Mockingbird for a very unique and killer look. Like I said before, the one I have is Chinese ( bought in 2004)and heavier than the Korean ones that are made now, so if you want something that wont kill your shoulder, the new ones will probably work for you. I really love everything about this guitar. There is only one drawback, and that is the case. These cases are made to fit 2 or 3 different models, so the Ravelle wiggles around a little inside. I highly reccomend checking one out, if you like the Les Paul, 2 humbucker type set up.
