What an innovative idea from Fender to try to have a solid body guitar sounding like an acoustic - and it does surprisingly sound acoustic on that back pickup. It is the perfect compromise. It gives the easier playability of the solid body guitar whilst giving the flexibility of both acoustic sounds on the back pickup and the normal electric Tele sound on the front pickup. This is a great guitar for the type of work that I do (working solo)where I want the acoustic rhythm guitar sound most of the time with the occasional electric solo. Well done, Fender.
