Then get Red brand Copper Bronze strings (Light) and some African Wenge wooden picks (from Fidis Picks, google them). Play for a couple of hours to warm up the strings, and you may be blown away. Before this, (which is my first guitar) the only guitar I was impressed by the sound of was a $5000+ Taylor that belongs to a friend of mine, which just has this amazing presence, richness, volume, clarity and sweetness all the way across the room--and a gorgeous abalone rim around the edge to add to the beauty.
This guitar has all that. Now my own guitar is my favorite one I ever heard. I use abalone picks too (from Brossard Picks), for a liquidy, mystical, other amazing kind of sound. Get this guitar and BE HAPPY! :)
