(More customer reviews)I've always played Yairi and Martin guitars and love both manufacturers quality and sound. I found a need for an acoustic electric and shopped around for almost a year. I had only been looking at natural spruce tops, when one day I happened to pick this guitar up and found myself unable to put it down. It has a brilliant responsive and accurate sound as well as action that met or exceeded my other acoustics. It was on sale at 799 and I had a 10% coupon - well I left with it. Played for another hour once home. The next day, I plugged it into our Yamaha Clavinova to check the "electric" side of the guitar, and was very pleased yet again. My daughter (keyboard) and I are working again on some songs as the guitar has sparked musical interest again in our home.
I was budgeting at 500 -600, but I would recommend saving another 300 and at least giving this handcrafted, quality Japanese beauty a look!
