They were featuring artists and songs from the 70's, and the leader of the group "Starland Vocal Band" was using it on their song " Afternoon Delight". I was curious about the guitar he was playing so I started researching it. It took quite a while, but stumbled on the name & origins of the Giannini Craviola from Brazil. Every review was positive and mentioned the fact that the Craviola's unique shape definitely drew a lot of attention from the audience and musicians alike. When the price dropped to closeout prices on Amazon, I decided I couldn't pass up the opportuniy to try one out. What a shocker, the sound is extremely pleasant and the shape allows one to play it comfortable while sitting without a strap. I decided this would be my go to acoustic when performing. It has not let me down. The sound is bright with just enough bass. The setup was good and did not require any adjustment on arrival. If you're like me, and enjoy finding instruments out of the ordinary, you can't go wrong with a Giannini Craviola.
