(More customer reviews)Initially sounded incredible, but on the 3rd rehearsal it started blowing farts, (not even using 50% of volume capacity.) I knew based on previous reviews that there was a design or quality control issue, but was intrigued by the 2x12 speaker arrangement and thought I would take a chance. My guess is that they sacrificed durability by obtaining such an extraordinary light weight (27lbs I think) and they quite obviously did not take the amp through thorough QC testing to ensure the product they were delivering to market was as advertised given how common this same basic problem has been.
Contacted Gallien-Krueger's support department initially to see about having it replaced or repaired 2 weeks ago. Still have not heard back. And it's more for this latter reason than the deficient design that I will ever after be hesitant about buying anything from Gallien-Krueger in the future. After a couple days of not hearing from GK, contacted Amazon to return item, which they did hassle free. It's why I do all of my online shopping with Amazon whenever possible. Amazon 5 stars; GK 1 star.
