The guitar sounds great distorted and has a decent clean sound. For the price this is a fantastic instrument. Its very sturdy and durable. I've owned this guitar for 5 years and it still plays just like the day I bought it. I've upgraded to a Gibson SG since purchasing this guitar but it is still one of the best deals around for a guitarist who wants to play more rock or metal. It has a sleek simple look and plays like a champ.
