This unit is pretty handy for setting up PA and mixing. The accuracy is ok with the built in mic.
Given the price, it's a great unit. The RT60 feature does not separate results into separate octave ranges which for me defeats the purpose of having RT60.
The Neutrik NTI AL-1 is much more precise and versatile, makes usable RT60 calculations, has resolution fine enough to analyze comb filtering but much pricier at ~$1100 with the calibrated mini mic. The Ivie IE-33 also seems a lot more full-featured at $1600
I wish this unit had more robust computer software to make higher resolution readings than 1/3 octave from the built-in mic through the USB computer interface.
The user interface is not as easy as the Neutrik unit, but the functions on this unit are pretty simple and the interface is fast enough. As the computer interface does not have any more features than the handheld device by itself, I will not end up using it very much so, the cheaper PAA2 would have been fine for my uses. I hope Phonic will be able to update its firmware/software in the future. Still, no regrets. I will find use for this unit's 31 band analyzer in every PA setup, live and studio recording.
