(More customer reviews)I have been playing for about 20 years. I have gone through many quality guitars and amps and I consider myself a professional when it comes to guitars and amps. Guitars should be rated by tone, hardware, playability, feel and value. I have an ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Gold-top model with Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pickups and it is my absolute favorite guitar I own. It's got the action, speed and playability of a high end Ibanez or Jackson (or ESP), it's got the sweet tone and sustain of my USA Fender Stratocaster and Gibson Les Paul Standard but with it's own voice, the hardware's quality is outstanding (better than most guitars costing 2x this) and all of this for under $1000! Incredible. I don't know how ESP did it, but they did and I am looking forward to buying more of their Deluxe 1000 models!
