I have owned Martin and Larrivee dreadnoughts but have been playing jazz on an archtop for the last few years. I wanted to get back to playing some of my old material on a smaller acoustic which did not feel like wrestling with an elephant. This guitar is at least the equal of the expensive ones I have owned, with no dull spots on the fretboard; the tone is rich and sustained throughout. It strums as well as it picks. The finish is immaculate. Two minor quibbles: the headstock is a bit small and the tuner layout cramped, and I would probably have increased the string spacing by 1/32. I put on a set of 11-50s (slightly lighter than the 11-52s it came with) and had to tweak the truss rod a bit. I may have the bridge saddle filed down 1/64 depending on what happens with the changes of weather and humidity. You could spend $2000 and not get a better OOO than this.
