This is it. I've fallen in love with the three single coils, switches, knobs, tremolo system, tuners, bridge, etc. Even the shape of the guitar is well thought-out and designed with the player in mind.
Standard Strats are made in Mexico, at a plant that has been there for decades. These guys know what they're doing. The guitars are a great value and you can mess with them without fear. Because they are so popular there are all kinds of aftermarket parts that drop right in. You can leave them stock and they work great or try new pickups, for example. They're just fun, durable instruments that make their owners happy.
