(More customer reviews)This definatley has a unique look with the Strat-style neck, and has a cool on board tuner and pickup. But -- the body is small and doesn't have a smooth tone. Sounds good plugged in, but I just wanted a cheap acoustic to keep handy, why not a Fender with good reviews?. I'm going to change the strings, which sound way too twangy and lower the action. The neck is, to me, rough. I have a '65 Harmony Stratotone with a smoother neck. It's a good beach guitar for banging out a few chords, or use it plugged in and get decent sound. It's made in China (what isn't) and it feels it. I'll pay and buy American next time. This guitar will be a keeper just for sitting around with the gang on the beach where acoustics don't matter, and sit by the bed to bang out a few ideas. Lot's of folks like this guitar, and it does have like-ability, it's light, sturdy and has a 'happy-fun' personality, and that's why I gave it three stars, it's a 'fun' guitar at a fun price. This is just my opinion...maybe I got the rough one that slipped through. I expected more from Fender, especially the neck. I suggest trying it in person before ordering as we all have different likes and dislikes.
