(More customer reviews)I used to own an Ampeg V4B but sold it after several failures (mains transformer, B+ diodes, etc.). I love the sound of a great tube bass amp so I bought the Peavey VB-2. I use it with two Carvin 15" speaker cabinets and a Gibson Ripper Bass. In my opinion, it has a sound very close to the Ampeg and it is less expensive than the SVT Heritage. My amp is made in the USA, too. I love supporting my fellow Americans. The build quality is second to none, there is no hum or noise, and the sound character can be changed to many different sound envelopes. I love this new amp!
