(More customer reviews)I work for a guitar store and am a bit of a gear snob so when i heard about the new Bugera line i was skepitcal. the day a single V22 arrived at our store i opened the box and was taken aback at how good the amp looked. i plugged it in, grabbed my favorite Tele and was blown away by the tone! after about 10 minutes of playing with this amp i placed it back in the box and bought it. I'm not the biggest fan of the triode tone though for someone i'm sure it's perfect. triode defintaley sounds better with the dirty channel and gives you that 60's garage rock tone. but in full pentode mode the amp really sings. for reference, i play clean instemental style, sufy, spaghetti westerny type stuff. the dirty channel is good but for for serious shredders this amp probably lacks the gain you would want but that's why they make pedals right? it's also doubtful that 22 watts would turn to many shredders on any how but it's plenty loud for most 100-200 people venues i play. there is a line out when i need to use it in bigger venues and an effects loop that is clean and noise free. though i like my spring verb tank, the digital reverb sounds great and is foot switchable with the included foot switch. for the price tag, this amp rivals many more expensive amps. i tried it back to back with a Fender vibrolux and the Bugera won by a mile. time will tell how durable it is but so far, it's my new favorite amp.
