(More customer reviews)In past I've played on Fender Precision Basses, and some really heavy Peavy Basses. I heard about the Ibanez sound gear models through a friend. After being intrigued I went down to a dealer and tried it out. I fell in love with it immediately!
There are so many up sides to this bass. The strings have a nice full sound and are easy to pop; the stock pick-ups sound great; the neck is really thin making faster passages easier; it has a beautiful design; and its incredibly LIGHT!!!!
After trying it out and playing around on it for a while I asked how much it was.... This is one of THE BEST basses you can buy for the price.
This Bass has so many great features. Honestly the ONLY downside that I can think of is that the pick-ups are powered by a 9-Volt battery.
I use this bass for almost every gig now. From Funk, to Jazz, to Bossa Nova, to Rock; this Bass is everything you could ask for.
