(More customer reviews)I have been playing for about 20 years. I have gone through many quality guitars and amps and I consider myself a professional when it comes to guitars and amps. Guitars should be rated by tone, hardware, playability, feel and value. I have an ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Gold-top model with Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pickups and it is my absolute favorite guitar I own. It's got the action, speed and playability of a high end Ibanez or Jackson (or ESP), it's got the sweet tone and sustain of my USA Fender Stratocaster and Gibson Les Paul Standard but with it's own voice, the hardware's quality is outstanding (better than most guitars costing 2x this) and all of this for under $1000! Incredible. I don't know how ESP did it, but they did and I am looking forward to buying more of their Deluxe 1000 models!

(More customer reviews)This bass is a beautiful piece. Its a nice flat wood, it is very smooth and all around nicely crafted. The sound is incredible, having the 3 band EQ is a plus. You can be playing a smooth bass line and with the twist of a knob you have a steely sounding slap bass. Fantastic bass!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this exact model one year ago, and had owned 2 other solid body electrics, an acoustic electric and a couple of acoustic guitars before I bought this one. It is awesome! And for a picky guitar player that buys and sells gear frequently, I've had this one for a year and have not considered selling it... I've played other brands of Les Pauls, and they manufacture these so well, I was disappointed not to see the same quality in many other guitars in this price range. The pickups are great, and can be adjusted from nice cleans to great powered humbucker gain. The Ebony fretboard and locking tuners are icing on the cake.

(More customer reviews)Finally its mine!!! Ever since I was a kid I have wanted to own Kirks pride and joy ESP guitar. Bought it for myself as a gift for surviving 3 tours in the middle east. Since Im not willing to shell out over $9,999 for some super edition guitar this one suits me fine. This one has everything that the $10K guitar has but not with cool graphics and a computer printed "autograph" on it. It has a very nice sound, the fret board is super smooth and built for his style of playing which is fast in case you dont know. The damn thing is a diamond in guitar form. Keeps its tune for a while too. Not so easy to tune back up but you will get used to it. Hey, great quality guitars cause for high maintenance. If youre willing to spend the money this is actually worth investing in if you plan on keeping it for life.
