The sound is great and the guitar is feels good and seems to be decent quality. Much nicer than one would expect for a beginner's guitar. Definitely worth the price.

(More customer reviews)I think Yamaha Pacifica 112v is the best inexpensive Strat-type guitar in the market. I find Pacifica 112V even better than mexican made strats. The bridge humbucker is pretty powerful and can be used for hard rock/metal tones with lots of distortion. The build quality is very good as well. Stays in tune for weeks!
