(More customer reviews)First of all, I love the Maple neck on this guitar. Not too fat, not too thin...just right. Secondly, the American made MFD pickups have great sparkle in all positions. Don't forget that you pull out the Treble knob and you have the additional Neck and Bridge combined position, which is a nice touch. Next, the separate tone control to roll off the bass is very practical and allows you to adjust the "twang" without touching your amp. Fourth, the swamp ash body is stunning and is light enough to save your back if you are gigging all night. There is nothing not to love here--although it did need minor setup...something that all guitars seem to need. The floating vibrato/tremolo is another nice feature, you can pull back or push down, and it seems to stay in tune well. The steel block in the vibrato is huge and allows for great sustain. And finally, the included Deluxe Gig Bag is thickly padded and very study--it even has a hanger built in so you can hang it up in a closet for easy storage. This is Leo Fender's finest Stratocaster at a fraction of the cost!!
