ESP LTD AX-50 Electric Guitar Silver Satin Chrome Hardware Review

ESP LTD AX-50 Electric Guitar Silver Satin Chrome Hardware

This guitar is playable out of the box, it's got a heavy/chunky kind of sound, the pick ups are nice, not the greatest but they're good. I loved it as soon as I started playing it. It's one of those guitars that attracts you to play well on it when you pick it up. It's bigger than you'd think, and the silver is beautiful, it's not too heavy, not too light, kind of perfect balance. The fretboard is fast and you'll have no problem going up and down this thing like I95. Did I Mention that it's really attention grabbing? My only qualm with it is that It had a lot of fret buzz when I started playing it but I guess I'll have to break it in.....BUY IT!

ESP EC-1000FR - See-Thru Black Finish Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose Tremolo System Review

ESP EC-1000FR - See-Thru Black Finish Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose Tremolo System

I like to play metal, and "palm mutting" swet has erase part of the dark color in the Floyd Rose Bridge 1 mounth after I received the guitar. I recomend to buy a guitar with a silver Floyd Rose. I like dark the most, but I never thought it would miss the color that fast...
If you don't know or have somebody who can help you to tune the floating tremolo, is better thinking to buy other kind of tremolo, it's a big pain in the butt.
I have a Les Paul (double brass pick ups), a '63 Fender Jaguar (double couple of Seymour Duncan humbuckers), an this (EMG's 60 & 81 active pick ups), and it sounds very good, but I prefer the sound of the Les Paul, even for metal (but that's what I like). I have to recognise the LTD is amazing for shred, is lighter, softer and cheaper, also is better for play live stuff, is very versatile. Keep in mind that when you do palm mutting, if you put your palm against the floating bridge, the guitar can miss the tone.

LTD ST-203 Electric Guitar (Distressed 3-Tone Burst) Review

I agree with the first reviewer. Unbelievable how good these imports have become. China copies everything to perfection. The neck has a great feel the body/neck have a nice relic finish and the pick ups sound very much like original fender and are very bluesy/country rock with more output level the my SRV pickups. There is also the st203fr black relic with floyd rose fyi. If you want to kick it up a notch look at the ESP Vintage plus series those are pro level.

Dean Dimebag Razorback Explosion Guitar, Case inlcuded Review

This is the my fourth lifetime guitar lol. Im 20 and have been playing for about 7 years. I had a Les Paul that i paid around 1299 for and it was nothing in comparison. This is without a doubt the finest instrument that i have owned. Once i got it in tune i'd say it lasted 3 times longer than the Gibson did before i had to do it again. Its a fine instrument and its a must from the experienced player on down to those who are just becoming interested in music. 6/5 stars. Is'nt it time to get your Wings, Dean for life.

Dean Dime Guitar from Hell with Case Review

Dean Dime Guitar from Hell with Case

Dime would be proud, I loved his Washburn guitars, but always wanted a Dean like he started with... when they came out with these dime lines I kept telling myself I didn't need one, when they started selling them on Amazon, I watched them for years, finally Amazon tempted me too greatly with the $526 price tag and I jumped in and wish I had done so sooner... This thing shreds... I love playing it. I liked Dean, but hadn't owned one, they are great for their price range and even better getting them for a steal. It sounds great, plays fast, and looks good doing it. The case is great too.
Besides if you're looking at this you already know why you want it, I'm just affirming that it is the one you're looking for...

Dean V Dave Mustaine Guitar, Bolt-on Classic Black Review

Dean V Dave Mustaine Guitar, Bolt-on Classic Black
Average Reviews:

I used to play guitar years ago. I had never gotten truly proficient, but I knew a number of songs and wasn't bad at playing them. The problem was, I never really felt like I could play the stuff I listened to - Metallica, Megadeth, etc. Now, after about 8 or 9 years of not having a guitar (pawned off all of the guitars I had over the years, in needing to pay bills - never again!), I decided to pick up a guitar - one that would inspire me to learn some of my favorite songs ("The Thing That Should Not Be" and "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)", for example.)
While I didn't buy this guitar from Amazon (I want to be able to hold and play an instrument before buying it), I'm quite happy that I did buy it. It may be the "low end" of the Dave Mustaine signature series but, as far as I can tell, there's nothing lacking other than a few frills like upgraded inlays and custom paint jobs.
I've had my guitar for about a week now and I can't put it down. I've yet to find anything wrong with it or anything to complain about, save for the positioning of the strap buttons - one is right behind the neck, where it bolts on to the body, and the other is on the underside of the "top" leg of the V. A little difficult to get used to if you're used to strat-styles, but still pretty comfortable. I don't know if I'll ever be able to truly shred out some of the solos in some of the songs I want to learn, but I do know that I'll enjoy trying while playing this guitar. :D
