There's a bit of treble but its great for the money. It's a great sounding guitar and
sounds phenomenal plugged or unplugged.Obviously it's not going to sound like a Taylor or Martin
but for someone with a budget this is perfect. Tuner is great and deffinitely handy.
So happy with my purchase! :DDD

(More customer reviews)If you wanted that $6000 Taylor, but only have $600 to spend, do yourself a favor and get this guitar. Then get Red brand Copper Bronze strings (Light) and some African Wenge wooden picks (from Fidis Picks, google them). Play for a couple of hours to warm up the strings, and you may be blown away. I was.
Before this, (which is my first guitar) the only guitar I was impressed by the sound of was a $5000+ Taylor that belongs to a friend of mine, which just has this amazing presence, richness, volume, clarity and sweetness all the way across the room--and a gorgeous abalone rim around the edge to add to the beauty.
This guitar has all that. Now my own guitar is my favorite one I ever heard. I use abalone picks too (from Brossard Picks), for a liquidy, mystical, other amazing kind of sound. Get this guitar and BE HAPPY! :)

A friend of mine makes his living playing and I think he had his doubts when I told him I was going to buy it, especially without having tried it out first but the fellow reviewers did not lead me astray. This guitar is a thing of beauty, the wood is beautiful and the binding is incredible.
I have not seen craftsmanship like this in a long time.
The guitar has a nice tone and the action is good, right out of the case.
Even without an amp it is loud enough to be heard.
The on board tuner is great and very handy. their symbol lights up both wings when the right pitch for the string is reached.
The on board electronics are very nice and when i plugged it into the amp I must have pushed the volume up, it got my attention in a hurry.
(of course the wife says, Turn that down)
Over all this is one heck of a nice guitar.
If you love exotic wood, this is a great guitar to own.
