I received my TM - took it out of the box - stood the bridge up in a reasonable place - checked the tuning - adjusted and have been playing it ever since - good looking good sounding well priced instrument

Trinity College TM-250B Celtic Mandolin (Black Finish, Hardshell Case) Review

This is my second mandolin; I was looking for an intermediate instrument to replace my beginner Oscar Schmidt. This mandolin has an ok sound and is fun to play. The details are quite striking and I am pleased with it. The only caution is the bridge comes separate and not installed, but it's easy enough to install one's self. I did a quick Internet search on "install mandolin bridge" and found several videos and presentations on how to do it took me about an hour to get the intonation and tuning correct using an electronic tuner.
Update:
I have been playing this mandolin for a year now and my left hand is beat! the action is too stiff and after an hour of hard play, the fingers are screaming for a break. it does sound best with Martin light strings.

Dwarfcraft Shiva Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal Review

The SHIVA is not a pedal. The SHIVA is power. It interacts with your signal, your mind and soul. There are times when I long to throw it back into the fires of Mordor, but I can't bring myself to do it. It is... Precious to me.
Pros: Grants eternal life, mind crushing power and sonic girth.
Cons: Side effects include insatiable hunger for noise and insomnia. The volume knob is quite useless as the only suitable setting is "infinity".
