(More customer reviews)This quality of this unit is without compromise. It's solidly built - to put it mildly - and introduces no discernible signal coloration. I've previously owned a Morley unit (if you want hum in your signal chain, the Morley delivers) and a Whirlwind switcher (good, and great value, but not in the same class with the Lehle). I use this unit to switch between an Egnater Rebel 20 half-stack and a Fender Blues, Jr. (my old-age rig). I could probably find a boutique two-channel amp that would come close to giving me the same tonal versatility as this setup, but the two amps and the Lehle give me more flexibility (in a pinch, I can get by with just one or the other of the amps), at less combined cost than a truly good boutique amp.
