I recently bought a Squire by Gibson to learn guitar on. After the first week on it, I brought it back to the store I bought it from and picked up this Washburn. Its a night and day difference. The Washburn sounds so nice, and the action is perfect. As a noob to the guitar, its hard enough to play with your developing fingertips. Unlike the Gibson, this one I am able to play even with sore fingers. I have already received some compliments on the guitar, and it has REALLY improved my learning curve and just plain old makes me smile when I play it.

(More customer reviews)I have had this model for four years and am totally satisfied with it. It has a good sound and an action that makes playing it a pleasure. It sounds good plugged in or just played acoustically. I have recorded with it, and performed numerous gigs too. The built-in tuner is a great convenience too. If you cannot afford to pay more, then just get this one and you will be satisfied.
