(More customer reviews)This module came with my RM4 preamp, and I was planning on selling it to buy the XTC module, but then...I cranked this bad boy up and WOW. Has an AMAZING high gain Marshall tone, and more. I used to have a JCM 800, and this module can cop it's tone, and more. It basically sounds like a modded/boosted Marshall. It's thick, crunchy, and just blooms with tone. I ended up buying the XTC still, but I actually found I use the SL+ more. Good for both rhythm and lead playing with plenty of gain for classic rock, to more modern hard rock/metal tones. This is a keeper.
