(More customer reviews)When I first purchased my Copley 5-string I had a couple reservations. I hadn't heard anything about the company so therefore had little to go on. As soon as it arrived my mind was put at ease. Great craftsmanship combined with quality materials make this one of the sweetest sounding 5-string basses I've heard. Tons of sustain & heaps of crunchy deep tones. After having it a couple months, I decided to strip the entire guitar and go with a natural wood finish. I also decided to remove the frets while I was at it, since I prefer to play only fretless. All in all... money well spent! Copley offered a very high quality product which I modified to meet my preferences.
